Nigerian music icon, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2baba has proposed to Edo lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru. The proposal surfaced on Wednesday, in a viral video that has been circulating on social media.
This is coming after a video released on Tuesday by the singer, in which he confirmed his relationship with the lawmaker and his intention to marry her. A day after this confirmation, the newly engaged couple were seen in a video dancing together before 2baba presented a ring to Osawaru in the presence of their friends.
Recall that the singer recently announced his separation from his wife, after 13 years of marriage. Shortly after, 2baba declared his intentions to take things further with Osawaru while he was reacting to the suspicion of fans about his relationship with the lawmaker.
The singer revealed this in a video captioned “To Whom It May kwansighn. #I don yarn my truth. Feel free to continue alleging. We shall all be alright.”
He acknowledged that he’s not oblivious to the bashing Osawaru has been receiving online. Also, he narrated how people are labeling her a “home breaker”.
2baba however described the lawmaker as a young brilliant and amazing woman, noting that his relationship with her is not responsible for his separation from Annie. He further declared his love for her and his intention to marry her.
The proposal video has brought about different reactions from fans, with a lot of them pointing to the previous baby mama scandals the hip-hop artiste endured in the last. Some suggested that 2baba may be the reason why Annie resorted to drugs to suppress her depression.
