Africa-centric publication, Afrocover has announced the winner of its maiden monthly essay competition. As revealed, Michael Paul, a 600-level student of Medicine and Surgery, University of Ibadan clinched the prize.

The maiden edition is titled “Exploring politics as the most influential institution that shapes a society’s social, economic, and cultural life.” Paul emerged winners among thousands of high-quality entries after submitting an in-depth article that conforms with the rules of the competition.

According to Afrocover, the selection process was quite challenging due to how most of the articles were beautifully written. As outlined in the guidelines, all entries went through a meticulous AI detection test to filter those with input from artificial intelligence tools.

Afrocover values integrity and authenticity so much that the firm also subjected the writings to some plagiarism tests. Meanwhile, Afrocover evaluated the submission through a series of established fair grading criteria.
