As reported, the defendant became indicted on two counts of charges, which include conspiracy and stealing.

Olawale pleaded not guilty to the leveled charges. Consequently, the court issued an N600,000 pronouncement as part of his bail conditions.

The charges read; “That you, Tewogbola Olawale, and others at large, sometime in October 2021 at Crysland Nigeria Limited, Pen Cinema, Agege area of Lagos State, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did conspire among yourselves to commit a felony, to wit: stealing, thereby committing an offense punishable under Section 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.

“That you, Tewogbola Olawale, and others at large, on the same date, time, and place, in the aforesaid magisterial district, did steal pallets of Trophy Beer, valued at N1,700,000.00 property of Crysland Nigeria Limited. With this, you committed an offense punishable under Section 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.”
