The screening committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) recently threatened to abandon aspirants with criminal records.
The party vowed not to come to the aid of any aspirant with cases of misconduct.
APC wants the aspirants who have such cases to use the opportunity provided by the screening exercise to divulge it.
The committee, however, gave some aspirants, with due payment and credential issues an opportunity to clear it.
While those that defaulted on the dues are advised to rectify the problem in an office within the screening centre. More so, the party wants those that forgot to come along with their credentials to bring them before the committee concluded its sitting on Sunday.
The ruling party requested all aspirants to state what they knew on the contents of the manifesto of the ruling party.
An aspirant confirmed that at least 90 party faithful spread across the constituency signed the nomination and expression of interest forms of each of the aspirants for the House of Representatives.
There were nine panels. Each panel comprising a group of states ranging from three to five for the purpose of the screening exercise.
