The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) raided the enclave of some internet fraudsters and nabbed 19 suspects in Lokoja, Kogi State.

According to the Head of Media and Publicity of EFCC, Wilson Uwajuaren, one of the suspects is a member of the NYSC in the state and the other 18 suspects are students of tertiary institutions.

The EFCC spokesman further that the operatives of the agency swung into action after receiving credible intelligence on the presence of increasing fraudsters in the Kogi capital.

Items recovered from the suspects were laptops, a Lexus jeep, and a huge amount of money.

Uwajuaren said the suspects will be charged to court after the completion of investigations.
