Drama as Lawyer wears charm and traditional worshippers’ attire to Supreme Court
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Whatsapp

Photos making the rounds on Social Media on Thursday show a lawyer wearing a charm and a red cipf-es.org cloth; tied around his waist to a hearing at the Supreme Court in Abuja.

The post states that the unidentified lawyer’s dressing was inspired by the recent ruling of the Apex Court concerning religious freedoms. The Supreme Court last week gave a verdict that allows students to use hijabs in schools and other public places.

The ruling further reinforces religious freedom that allows public expression of different ways of worship.

While some applaud the lawyer’s boldness; others see it as a violation of the code of conduct guiding the legal profession.
