Breaking: Kano State Government Bans Tricycle Operations at night

Kano state government has prohibited the operation of tricycles after 10 pm with effect from Thursday, July 22, 2022.

The state commissioner for information, Malam Muhammed Garba, revealed the decision was taken at the end of the state security meeting.

It had earlier been reported that a series of criminal activities were carried out by tricycle operators or with their assistance which has resulted in the loss of lives and property.

The commissioner has urged tricycle riders to comply with the security measures. Following this ban, tricycles will now operate from 6 am to 10 pm.
