A former employee of Fidelity bank, Adenike Okuneye, has been sentenced during a magistrate sitting at Ebutte Meta Lagos. The 31year old Adenike was sentenced to six months for obtaining the sum of fifty thousand from a customer under fraud and pretense.
The court Magistrate, A.T Omoyele, sentenced Adenike on August 1 without an option of a fine after finding her guilty of impersonation and obtaining under pretense.
Okuneye committed the offense in Lagos between March and August 2017. She falsely presented herself as a bank worker by wearing a fidelity T-shirt.
