Warimi Sickle cell foundation donates gift items to sickle cell warriors.

Warimi sickle cell foundation has donated Medications, Mosquito Nets, Sweat Shirts, Water bottles, and other needed items to sickle cell warriors. The items were donated during the foundation’s ‘Gift a warrior ” event held at Alagomeji Yaba axis of lagos state.

According to the founder of the foundation, Adeola Olaoluwamiri, the project was geared towards enlightening the warrior on how they can stay healthy and take care of themselves.

Olaoluwamiri further that she understood the emerging plight of many of the warriors, saying that some of them cannot the items which are very important. Additionally she expressed her gratitude to partners whose contribution was instrumental in the success of the event.

Meanwhile, Stephen Adedigba in his speech, he noted that sickle cell is not a death sentence. He further encouraged the participants not to look less or feel discouraged because they are sickle cell warriors.

Other dignitaries that graced the occasion include Adekoya Olamide, Founder Rhema Worlds of variety, Adeyemi Victoria, Founder Phoebe’s Treat, Adeyemi Damilola, Founder Everything Glare, Adedigba Stephen, Founder, Talk Africa, and other volunteers.

The participants also appreciated the covener and her team for organizing the event.
