President Muhammadu Buhari alongside All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is planning to visit Ogun State on January 25. According to a revised timetable by the APC Presidential Campaign Council, President Muhammadu Buhari will join the party’s nationwide rallies in 10 states.

The Spokesperson for APC Presidential Campaign Committee, Festus Keyanmo confirmed the President’s willingness to visit the states alongside Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The States as revealed are Adamawa (January 9) Yobe (January 10) Sokoto (January 16) Kwara (January 17) Ogun (January 25) and Cross Rivers (January 30). Also, by February, President Muhammadu Buhari will lead the APC campaign train to states like Nassarawa (February 4), Katsina (February 6), and Imo (February 14).

The revised timetable signed by the Party’s Presidential Campaign Committee Spokesperson, Feyanmo Keyanmo indicates that Lagos State will host the grand finale on February 18. Further, Keyamo established that the President despite his tight schedule is willing to join the campaign train to the ten states. The Spokesman recalled how President Muhammadu Buhari attended the flag-off of the Presidential Campaign in Jos.

Additionally, Keyanmo on behalf of the committee appreciated the President for his commitment towards the Party’s growth. In his words, the Spokesman said “the leader of our great party, for his sterling and inspirational leadership at this time for galvanising our teeming members and supporters across the country.”

Also, Keyanmo beseeched party members to turn out and join the campaign train. He charged party faithful and supporters to keep their spirit high. The Spokesman said “We must not relent in this collective march to our victory at’s divinely ordained.”

APC’s reaction to the new year message to Nigerians by Olusegun Obasanjo

Recall that early this week, Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo in his new year message urged Nigerian to vote out the APC government. In his letter, the former President criticized the APC administration for making life difficult for Nigerians.

The submission of the former President didn’t sit well with the party, sparking outrageous reactions from APC members. Presently, the presidential candidates of the APC, Bola Tinubu; PDP, Atiku Abubakar; LP, Peter Obi and the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso are the frontrunners in the race to Aso Rock
