Calabar boat accident: Bodies of three missing students recovered

The Calabar state police commissioner has confirmed the recovery of the bodies of three students who went missing after a boat capsized in Calabar on Saturday. The bodies recovered are those of two male and female students.

According to him, “the police have been working day and night to rescue the missing students.”

The incident happened on Saturday, when some medical students who were in Calabar for medical students’ games went on a boat cruise at Marina Resort on Saturday during which the boat capsized.

Eleven of the students were rescued while the bodies of the three missing students were recovered on Monday.
