Globus Bank’s Amarachi Ugochukwu, a 32-year-old marketing employee, was discovered dead inside the bank’s Ikorodu, Lagos, branch. It was claimed that the deceased committed suicide on January 8, 2024.

The source said that during the search for the late Globus Bank employee Ugochukwu, who was reported missing from her workstation, a bottle of Sniper pesticide and her lifeless corpse were located in the staff restroom of the branch.

She penned what appeared to be a suicide note, which went as follows: “My decisions are wrong. My mind is messed up. The future doesn’t seem right at all; I see extreme hardship. I can’t bear the pain anymore.” She wrote further, “I’m sorry, mom; I am sorry, dad. I’m sorry, Meme, Okwe, Toto Nazor, Chuchu, and Ifunanya. Lord, have mercy on me!”
She made the decision to stop things and apologised to her family and friends for it rather than carry on struggling. Many people who read the comments were able to relate to her and understand why

she did what she did.
@adu.faye: You try to work legit and all work your ass off. Monday to Sunday no rest and all the money you work for a month can’t feed you 101, can’t buy you clothes, or pay your domestic bills, the country is gone. It’s so hard, the economy is harsh , YHWH

@samtalks_: guys please there is no shame in crying for help, especially family and close friends, people are so caught up in their own worlds these days they can’t maintain a relationship/friendship, sometime all you need is someone to Hug you and give you a little hope to keep pushing! ❤️‍????

@destiny: Imagine, she even Dey work yet the economy was too high for her ????????????. RIP beautiful ❤️????

Furthermore, it was learned that the body had been taken by the police and placed in Ikorodu General Hospital for preservation and an autopsy.
