President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Tuesday inaugurate a committee that will negotiate the new minimum wage with the representatives of the Labour union.

This was contained in a letter by the secretary to the government of the federation, George Akume.

Recall that the National Salaries Income and Wages Commission (NSIWC) had in 2023 announced the commencement of a review process of the current N30,000 minimum wage following the removal of fuel subsidy.
