Anambra Police declares Inspector wanted for murder

The Anambra Division of the Nigerian Police has on Tuesday declared Inspector Audu Omadefu wanted for an alleged murder case in the state.

The information regarding the yet-to-be-disclosed dead person was disclosed by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Tochukwu Ikenga to the press in Awka, the capital of the state.

The Command disclosed Inspector Audu Omadefu with AP No. 362178 wanted for murder and for public assistance regarding his whereabouts.

The statement according to the PPRO reads “The Command urges any member of the public who sees the fugitive or has information on his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or call the command control room number”.

The public has been directed to contact the PPRO on 08039334002 or the Command division via or report to the nearest police station. The PPRO additionally assured the public of treating information reported with utmost confidentiality.
