Pesiro out after his 22 months stay expired in NFF

Jose Peseiro’s twenty-two-month term as the head coach of the West African giant came to an end yesterday 29th February 2024, in a statement confirming this report via his Twitter handle today.

The Portuguese international expressed his sense of fulfillment after taking charge as the head coach for these years.

He further sends an appreciation to Sir Amaju Pinnick (the president who signed him ), President Ibrahim Gusau, General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi, Secretary Dayo Enebi, the NFF, all the Staff, and especially all the PLAYERS, with whom leading has been a great pleasure.

“Guys, we are thankful; it has been a privilege to be part of this family. We will miss you, but we will always be there for you, no matter where you are, a big hug to all of you”.

Jose Peseiro led the Super Eagle team to a second-place winner at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan in the just concluded CAF Africa Cup of Nations.
