Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, assents to N3.36 Trillion Budget  into law on Thursday to drive infrastructure, economic and growth in the state.

This was a budget that had been targeted at accelerating economic development and increasing infrastructure. The governor said the 2024 Budget of Lagos is targeted at some strategic infrastructural development to further diversify the economy, while ensuring that those key sectors supportive of long-term growth are strengthened.

He said, “The Lagos State government remains committed to delivering effective governance that prioritizes the needs of the people while ensuring accountability and responsiveness.”

He then called on the civil service and other key players to back the budget’s successful implementation by completing projects on time across the state. This action reinforces Lagos State’s commitment to become an economic powerhouse leading the way in investment opportunities, business expansion, and infrastructure development in Nigeria.
