Nigerians celebrate Adeboye at 83

Today, Christians rejoice with Pastor E A Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeem Christian Church of God, on his 83rd birthday.

The Ifewara-born cleric, who celebrates his 83rd birthday anniversary today, has praised God for his kindness over his life and family.

He was born on March 2, 1942 in Ifewara, near Ife, to the family of Adeboye.

According to a short statement on X/PastorEAAdeboye/status/ the Second Nation, the President of the Pentecostal Fellowship said it was another year of Divine Grace, thank you Lord for another year on earth #EAA83.

 Meanwhile, jubilation has erupted online among various Christian faithful and worship centers across the country, including offering prayers and wishes to the modest Man of God.

The celebration also includes a social media trend including photographs of  the Former  lecturer at the University of Lagos.

People online have recorded a variety of reactions to the celebration, which falls under the X trend,  #daddy.  Nigerians pray that the pastor’s life would be more meaningful.

In honor of the anniversary and the Overseer commitment to

serving humanity and positively impacting society, the RCCG has provided free medical treatments prior to the event.

According to a statement issued on Thursday by his son, Pastor Leke Adeboye, the programme, which is part of the church’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, will provide free medical services in a variety of areas, including obstetrics and gynaecology, surgeries, general surgeries, eye surgeries, dialysis sessions, reading glasses, and consultation.
