Focus Teens founder ignites ambition in young boys at DSVA king’s club

As part of its ongoing efforts to empower and inspire young minds, the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) has recently organized an interactive session for member of its Kings’ Club initiative.

This was contained in a statement released on Tuesday via the official X handle of the Lagos State Government.

The interactive session featured Mr. Kazeem Olanipekun, the Managing Director and CEO of Zobaya limited, a King’s Club Mentor and Principal, Focus Teens Foundation. Ten boys from Eko Boys High School, Mushin, accompanied by their teacher also participated in the engaging discussion.

According to the statement “Olanipekun engaged the boys in a reflective discussion, asking them to share what they had learned from the Kings’ Club initiative and how they had exhibited positive masculinity. He then posed thought-provoking questions, encouraging the boys to think about the type of men they wanted to become, the kind of brothers and fathers they aspired to be, and how they wanted to be perceived by others”.

Moreso, Olanipekun while addressing the students draws from his personal experiences, highlighting his successes and challenges in his childhood to adulthood journe and urged the boys to pursue excellence.

“Drawing from his personal experiences, Mr. Kazeem Olanipekun shared his journey from childhood to adulthood, highlighting his successes and challenges. He inspired the boys to strive for excellence, emphasising that they could attain great heights despite their obstacles,” the statement reads.

The boys were said to actively participate in the session, asking questions about overcoming obstacles and achieving academic and professional excellence, while.

the CEO provided guidance and encouragement, empowering the boys to become confident and successful.

“This initiative is a testament to DSVA’s commitment to nurturing young minds and promoting positive masculinity.”
