The deputy governor of Ondo state, Olayide Adelami, has said the current administration in the state has initiated several youth-centric programmes, aimed at positioning young people for global opportunities.
Adelami disclosed this through his Press Secretary, John Akinduro after receiving officials of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) in his office.
The JCI team was in Ondo state in preparation for the October 2025 national convention of the organisation.
The deputy governor appreciated JCI organisation for its humanitarian efforts, emphasising its philosophy aligns with the Aiyedatiwa’s administration in many areas of development.
Adelami said the governor is passionate about youth development, as he has initiated many programmes that will ensure the young ones in the state are meaningfully engaged.
“I want to thank your organization for putting yourselves together as young people to help our society.
“Your goal clearly aligns with the passion of my governor, who has instituted a lot of programmes for the young ones in the state. One of which is the ‘One Youth, One Skill’ scheme that will ensure no youth is left behind,” he said.
