Adeleke’s second term is divine, says Primate Ayodele

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has been assured of victory in the 2026 governorship election by the spiritual leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele.

The cleric made this declaration during an empowerment program organized by his church in Lagos on Valentine’s day.

In a statement made available on the official page of the governor and signed by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, Primate Ayodele reaffirmed that divine revelation had confirmed Adeleke’s second-term victory.

Speaking at the event, which had dignitaries such as Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo represented by his Chief of Staff, Ernest Nnaama Ezeajughi and Senator Abiodun Olujimi of Ekiti State in attendance, the cleric emphasized that regardless of the political contest, Adeleke has been ordained by God to lead Osun State for another term.

Recalling his past prophecy, Ayodele narrated his encounter with Adeleke in 2017, when he predicted that the governor would win the 2018 election but would not assume office.

According to him, the prophecy materialized as Adeleke was declared the winner but was unable to take office.

“Your Excellency, let me remind you. In 2018, you were in the Senate. I came to your house, a white-story building located along the road. I told you that you would win but they would rob you of victory. You stood up, screamed, and later danced to give thanks to God. When the election was rigged, I gave thanks to God for the grace He gave me to deliver His message to you,” Ayodele recounted.

The cleric also revealed that he was once a close associate of former Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, but their relationship deteriorated when he prophesied that Oyetola would not return to office in 2022.

“Oyetola was my friend. I told him he would lose the election, but he was not ready to listen to the voice of God, and that led to the separation between us,” Ayodele explained.

He further asserted that if the All Progressives Congress (APC) fields Oyetola or any candidate against Adeleke in 2026, they will suffer defeat, as the election has already been divinely determined.

“People have been calling me a controversial prophet, but I don’t care because God Himself is also controversial. I am now giving you God’s words that you, Governor Adeleke, will win the 2026 governorship election, no matter how it may be. If Oyetola contests again, it’s going to be a red card for him,” he stated.

Primate Ayodele however, advised Governor Adeleke against defecting from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), affirming that the party has been anointed by God to remain in power in Osun State.

The cleric further encouraged the governor to continue serving the people diligently, assuring him that no political opposition could overthrow him.

“Asiwaju Sir, please keep doing the best that you’re doing for the people of Osun State. There is no magic wand that can save APC. Even if President Tinubu comes to Osun to campaign for APC and Oyetola, you will still win,” Ayodele declared.
