Ademola Adeleke cruising to victory in Osun guber, defeats incumbent in 17 of 30 LGAs

Ademola Adeleke cruising to victory in Osun guber, defeats incumbent in 17 of 30 LGAs

Pending further announcement from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the guber candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Osun, Ademola Adeleke has polled 403, 371 within 30 LGAs in the state to edge past his closest rival and incumbent governor, Gboyega Oyetola.

According to the collated results from INEC, the incumbent governor polled about 375,027 to trail the PDP candidate.

Recall that Osun is enveloped with 30 local government areas and emerging results show the PDP candidate winning in 17 while his opponent winning 13.
