Akeredolu sacks deputy governor’s media Aides

Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has relieved from their appointments with immediate effect all the Media Aides he appointed and seconded to the office of the Deputy Governor, Honourable Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

This was disclosed in a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Richard Olatunde on Thursday which copy was received by Afro Cover

Olatunde disclosed that the affected aide include: Press Secretary to the Governor, Kenneth Odusola; Special Assistant to Governor (New Media) Okunniga Oladipupo; and Special Assistant to the Governor (Photography) Abayomi Samson Adefolalu.

It was also noted in the statement that all the duty-relieved officials should submit all government properties in their possession to the Acting Permanent Secretary, Office of the deputy Governor.

In a related development, the Press Crew attached to the office of the deputy governor has been disbanded.

The statement stressed further that all members of the Press Crew to report back to their various ministries and stations.

However, the ministry of Information and Orientation has been directed to provide adequate coverage for the activities of the deputy’s governor office henceforth.
