ASUU-FG monday meeting inconclusive, to reconvene 24 hours later

ASUU to meet over strike decision

A senior member of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has confirmed that the union held a meeting with the representatives of Federal Government on Monday.

The member who was present at the meeting revealed that the meeting was held at the premises of the National University Commission.

According to the source who wants to be anonymous, the meeting ended without a concrete agreement between the two parties.

The parties, however, agreed to reconvene 24 hours after the meeting to resolve all impending agreements.

Recall that the strike embarked by the lecturers clocked 4 months today.
