Multichoice has revealed its decision to remove the Emmanuel TV from its platforms. This was revealed in a communique released by the organization on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

Emmanuel TV is a television network founded in 2006 by the late renowned Nigerian Prophet, Temitope Babatunde Joshua, popularly know as TB Joshua, the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), who died in 2021.

The decision of multichoice to remove the Emmanuel TV on its platforms was in relation to an investigative documentary released by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), on January 8, revealing allegations of rape, assault, torture against the late TB Joshua.

The investigative documentary has generated lot of reactions from people, both online and offline.

However, reacting to the BBC investigative documentary, the church’s public affairs director, Dare Adejumo, described the documentary allegations as baseless and also added that the interviewed persons in the documentary was unknown to the church.
