The Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Wuse Zone 2, Abuja, on Monday sentenced Peter Nwachukwu, husband of the late gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu, to death by hanging.

Presiding judge, Justice Njideka Nwosu-Iheme, found Nwachukwu guilty of culpable homicide over the death of his wife, who passed away on April 8, 2022. The judgment came after the court dismissed his no-case submission, ruling that the prosecution had established a strong case against him.
