Early today, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) reported a fire outbreak in a building located at 118 Broad Street CMS area of the State.

The agency through DR. Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu revealed it’s yet to determine the severity of the outbreak. LASEMA disclosed that it received the distress call almost immediately after the fire broke out.

Dr. Oke-Osanyintolu made it known that the fire affected a shoe warehouse on the street. The fire emanated due to a power surge when electricity was restored.

Furthermore, the Swift response of the LASEMA team minimized the damages of the outbreak. Also present at the scene are the Lagos State Fire Service and The Federal Fire Service.
