The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has set 140 and above as the cut-off mark for 2022/23 admissions into universities across the country.

This was made known by the Jamb registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede during a presentation at the 2022 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions and awards on Thursday, July 21, 2021, in Abuja.

Similarly, the Cut off for the College of Education and polytechnic was set at 100. The registrar further explained that institutions are not compelled to completely comply as these scores are the minimum. He said institutions have the freedom to set their cut-off, but should not be below the cut-off agreed upon at the 2022 policy meeting.
