Female 100-meter hurdle world record holder, Tobi Amusan has successfully defended her 100meter hurdle Commonwealth title. Tobi Amusan won gold at the ongoing games in Birmingham.
Tobi who won the competition in 2018, rounded up in 12.5 seconds on Sunday morning. She emerged as the winner overthrowing Australia’s Michelle Jenneke, England’s Cindy Sembre, Danielle Williams, and Jamaican duo Danielle Willaims and Megan Tapper.
The 25-year athlete has successfully defended her 100-meter hurdle title she won at 2018 competition in Australia. She finished well ahead of Australia’s Michelle Jenneke and Canada Michelle Harrison, who finished third place in 12.85 seconds.
