Death toll of Owo massacre rises to 40

The Ondo State Government has revealed that the death toll from the bloody ambush on St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, has now risen to 40.

The State Government made the revelation through a statement issued by the state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Banji Ajaka.

 

According to the commissioner, emerging records showed that the level of carnages from the attack has risen to 40 as at Tuesday midnight, with about 127 affected.

Meanwhile, the governor of the state, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu has donated land for the mass burial of all the unidentified corpses.
