According to report, Abass Adio Adebowale, the Chief Medical Director of Kaiama General Hospital who was earlier arrested for killing a Cab driver in Edo State, has been linked to the murders of his girlfriend and another lady.

Kwara state Police command made this development on Sunday while briefing reporters on the ongoing investigation.

In addition, the suspect reportedly killed the cab driver, identified as Emmanuel Yobo Agbovinuere, and dumped his corpse at Otofure community on the Benin-Lagos highway. He further confessed to killing his girlfriend, Ifeoluwa, who was announced missing in Ilorin in 2021.

Adebowale allegedly buried his girlfriend inside a shallow grave in his office and covered it with tiles. Kwara State PPRO, SP Okasanmi Ajayi, confirmed the development. Ajayi noted
that the tiles were broken by police and the unidentified woman’s remains were found.

Searching further, the remains of a lady named Nofisat who went missing months ago were discovered in a thrash can. Also, female items such as handbags, wigs, pants, and telephone were recovered.
