An upcoming Nigerian artist known as Destiny has been beaten to death in the Volta region area of Ghana. The 19-year-old artist was reportedly accused of failing to remit business funds he was introduced to.

Destiny’s apartment was stormed by his street brother and two others, to question him about the funds. The Nigerian artist was subjected to a violent assault after failing to provide answers concerning the funds.

The 19-year-old artist died on May 28 following the injuries sustained from the assault. An anonymous source disclosed that Destiny went to Ghana to further his education which was facilitated by his street brother.

He stated that the deceased was introduced to a business which he was accused of later diverting. Report says that the suspects left Destiny’s body in the room after discovering that he was motionless.

The deceased body was later discovered by the police, a few days after the tragic incident. Over the last few months, Nigeria has recorded death cases of its citizens in other countries.

In April, a Nigerian Uber driver, Bolaji, who lived in Pennsylvania was killed in Philadelphia, United States on Friday. Police report that a vehicle pulled up behind his car after picking up a 22-year-old passenger.

The 77-year-old man and the passenger were shot by one of the men from the vehicle. The passenger reportedly suffered gunshot wounds and was taken to Jefferson University Hospital in the country.

However, Bolaji was pronounced dead after crashing into a pole at 17th and Chestnuts Streets. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help cover the funeral and memorial expenses of the deceased.
