Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun has declared Tuesday as a work-free day in the state as the deadline for registration of voters for the 2023 general elections comes to an end.

The governor made this known through a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary in Abeokuta on Sunday.

According to the governor, the one-day public holiday is to enable workers in the state to get their PVCs and do all things that are necessary to perfect their permanent Voters’ registration.

The governor further urged all eligible adults to use the holiday as an opportunity to get their PVC done. He also admonished eligible voters to go to their various wards and fill out the claims and objective forms and transfer their PVCs where necessary.
