Olusegun Obasanjo distributes 85 tricycles on 85th birthday

Erstwhile President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo has distributed 85 tricycles to celebrate his 85th birthday. The initiative themed “OBJ @85 free keke program” had youth across different states In the country as beneficiaries. During his remark, Olusegun Obasanjo charged the youth to explore opportunities within Nigeria.

Furthermore, he urged them not to leave the country for those who have brought doom upon it. He charged them to rise to the occasion and add to the development of the country. He conceded that things are not as expected for the youthful population, yet they must work to develop the country.

Also, Olusegun Obasanjo added that youth shouldn’t rely on the ” Leaders of tomorrow” tag. He encouraged them to embrace the reality that today is their day and not tomorrow. The erstwhile President further stressed that waiting for the tomorrow could be costly for the youth.

Lastly, he encouraged them to search within themselves for how best to make things better. Obasanjo revealed that waiting for help from others might not come at the right time. However, proffering solutions to their problems will go a long way to overcoming their obstacles.
