Assistant Inspector General of Police heading Ondo and Ekiti states, Musibau Omolabi has revealed how to stop criminals terrorizing the state. Omolabi in a disclosure, disclosed that community policing and inclusiveness of stakeholders are key to tackling criminals in the state.
In his submission, the security expert emphasized on the collective effort of communities within the zone to combat insecurity. Also, Omolabi declared that he is ready to cooperate with the people of Ondo and Ekiti state for adequate safety.
The Assistant Inspector General made the statement at his office in Akure, Ondo state capital, headquarters of his zone. Also, he urged people of the state to work with police to end criminal activities.
He stressed that citizens should not hesitate to reveal key information to the police if there is information about criminals or criminal acts. Omolabi also advised residents not to be hostile with policemen, as their support will help in curbing criminal activities in the zone.
He continued by saying that his target is robust community policing and inclusiveness, making everyone partakers in policing. The AIG highlighted how the partnership will improve the safety of communities, making them a safe harbor for its residents.
Meanwhile, Omoluabi added that citizens should help provide key information and intelligence for effective results in the states. Similarly, the security expert explained how he prepared a security template to enhance and improve security in the zone.
The AIG, also vowed that his administration would create a safe and peaceful environment for businesses and companies to triumph. Musibau Omolabi noted that there will be intensive supervision, training and retraining of personnel to secure the zone from criminals.
