Oyetola welcomes 500 defectors from PDP, vows to continue good governance

Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola has received close to 500 members of the Peoples Democratic Party to his party, the All Progressives Congress. The defectors are from the Boripe Local Government of the state, and the local government of Governor Oyetola.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ismail Omipidan confirmed the development in a rally hosted by the party in Iragbiji. Omipidan revealed that the new members attributed the good works of the Governor in the state as the reason for their decision.

Furthermore, he confirmed that they’ve vowed to give Governor Oyetola every needed support to ensure his victory at the upcoming guber next month. While addressing the audience during the campaign, the Governor reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the prosperity of the. He described his first administration as the preamble of the good fortune that’s set to fall on the people of Osun.

Also, he urged the people of Osun to intensify their effort toward collecting their Permanent Voters Card. Lastly, he thanked the audience for their undying support and their sacrifices in ensuring good governance.
