Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso students, and some town youths are currently protesting at Ogbomoso. It was gathered that the protest was a result of the alleged killing of a final year student, Rachael Opadele, and the hotelier Olugbenga Owolabi.

A close source to the family revealed both victims were shot dead after kidnappers collected N5million ransom.

Also, the Okada rider who took the sum to the kidnapper was reportedly shot.
The victims were kidnaped on Thursday at a hotel located in Abaa community in the surulere Local government Area.

The police are yet to confirm the alleged killing of the victims at the time of making this report.
