Tinubu appoints 555 persons to university board

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed 555 individuals to serve as chairman and board members of the governing councils in Nigeria tertiary institutions.

This follows after the recent threat of ASUU to embark on strike over the absence of proper governing council in Nigeria Universities.

The president has given a new directive for the appointment of 555 individuals to work as the new board council of Nigeria Institutions.

The Appointment for the Chairmen and board members of the council will commence on, May 30 and 31st, 2024.

The list of names of the newly appointed Pro-chancellors, Chairmen and members has been circulating around the net as of today

The news ignited different responses from the people, Namura on Twitter now x says the ASUU strike has been successfully resolved, but further plead to the president to Amend the remaining loop holes.

Also a netizen with username Grace of God on commends the work of the president Tinubu, saying he is a listening president.

On the other hand drdaveobafemi calls total solutions to all ASUU needs.
