The wife of the president of Nigeria, Remi tinubu has been accorded ugosimba 1 of Enugu by Enugu traditional rulers. The title was conferred to her on Tuesday during her two-day visit to the state.

According to the chairman of the council, Igwe Asadu, the title recognized her humanitarian service for Enugu.

The chairman applauded the first lady’s compassion for the less privileged and her support for the state’s development.

Reacting to this, Remi Tinubu appreciates the council rulers, for the chieftaincy title conferred to her. She adds that the title is not just a personal honor for her but also for her entire family.

Bamidele calls for continued support of president Tinubu

The Director of strategic communication, Tunji Bamidele has condemned planned protests by faceless groups. According to him, the planned protest is unreasonable, unfounded and unproductive to the country.

He adds that the protests are attempts by hidden political opportunists capitalizing on public sentiment for selfish interests. Bamidele emphasized that the organizers of the protest focused on disorganizing the nation rather than presenting constructive criticism.

He continued that the political opportunists are desperate to regain their influence which is lost in the country. The Director notes that the protests serve no purpose but to undermine the president’s effort to build the country.

He emphasized that the protests come when the country is progressing, citing ongoing reforms and infrastructure development in the country.

Therefore, he urged Nigerians to resist the protest, noting that unity is needed in the country now more than ever. The Director also calls on political actors and the general public to embrace constructive engagement for the country’s growth.

He concluded by emphasizing that Nigeria can only be great and developed through cooperation and unity.
