Nollywood actress, Jennifer Sam Odeh has shared her thoughts on what it takes to become a star in the industry. She made her thoughts known during a conversation with Potpourri asserting that talent is not all it takes to make it.

While the actress affirm that talent is the number one key, she stated that beauty plays a huge role in paving the way to the spotlight in the industry.

Jennifer said, “I think beauty is relevant, especially in the industry I belong to. Believe it or not, the thing called Beauty privilege is real, it can take you places. It draws people to you and then it’s left for you to use that attention or platform well.”

The actress made it known that she dumped her banking job to pursue her love for acting. She further noted that life has taught her to believe in the power of networking, as it has come handy for her on several occasions.

She continued “Life has taught me that we win some and we lose some. But most importantly, networking is key. The gift of men is really underrated, we all need people in our corner, no matter who we are. I mean people that are relevant to our dreams and ambitions,”
