The Academic Staff Union of University, (ASUU) has disclosed the union is awaiting feedback from the Federal government on its request.
It had earlier been reported that the federal government renegotiation team headed by prof Nimi Briggs met with the union on Monday in continuation of the renegotiation of the FGN-ASUU 2009 agreement.

Emmanuel further revealed UTAS is undergoing an integrity test by National Information Technology Development Agency. Emmanuel said the committee will reach out to them when they are ready for another meeting.
Recall ASUU strike began its ongoing strike on February 14, 2022, after the government failed to meet some of its requests.
