The court of Appeal, during its sitting in Abuja on Thursday, has granted the appeal of Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra.
Nnamdi Kanu was also discharged and acquitted by the court. The development was confirmed by his lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor on Thursday.
Ejiofor said “Appeal allowed, Oyendu Mazi Nnamdi KANU, discharged and acquitted. We have won!,”
