Osun State Governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola, on Sunday, in Ibokun town of Obokun Local Government area of the state has warned both indigen and non-indigens of the states to live peacefully and to shield criminals not.
The Governor represented by his special adviser on Civil Engagement, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye at the turbanning ceremony of the new Seriki of Hausa in Ibokun Town.
The newly turbanned Seriki, Ayuba Lugu appreciate the people of Ibokun and Traditional leaders for privilege to serve in the capacity and promise to work for the progress and peace of the town.
Mr. Oyetola seek for the support of the citizens in ensuring and maintaining peace in the state and charged the citizens to report any suspicious movement to the nearby post.
Also in the turbanning ceremony is the Baabokun of Obokun, Oba Festus Aworogbo, Seriki Hausa Community in Osun, Alhaji Suaib Gomina, who both praised the Governor for his continuous provision of adequate security for all the residents of the State.
