Kano Court directs Man to Kill His Fowl For Disturbing Neighbours

A magistrate in Kano has ordered a man, identified as Isyaku Shu’aibu, a fowl owner to slaughter it over public disturbance.

Earlier, Yusuf Muahmmad Ja’en, filed a filed a complaint at the court that the crows of the fowl has been disturbing his sleep and peace in the neighbourhood.

The owner of the fowl, confirmed that it crowed too much, but he was planning to slaughter it soon. He pleaded that the Court gives him the grace to slaughter it in about weeks time.

However, the magistrate ruled that the cock should be immediately caged and slaughtered by the owner .
