The NCAA Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection has launched a new dress code for its officers working at the country’s airports. Mr. Michael Achimugu made the revelation on Tuesday through a statement.
While explaining the launching of the new dress code, the director stated that the development emanated as part of a the NCAA rebranding exercise for the workers. Further, he added that the new dress code will motivate officials of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection to improve their way of service.
As revealed, the new dress code is a crested blue waistcoat, a white shirt, and a hat. Including the T-shirts and traditional attires already in use. Mr Michael Achimugu further added that the rebranding from the NCAA is in-line with the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo’s five point agenda.
He explained how the minister’s agenda focuses more on the passengers rights and privileges. Additionally, Achimugu confirmed that the consumers protection department has also started putting more energy on their work as they are now treating consumer cases with utmost priority.
Also, the director stated that the minister had commanded that all issues must be attended to quickly. He went on to plead with consumers to always lodge their complaints through the right channel.
He assured them that the response team will attend to the issues immediately. Lastly, he warned that the agency will not pardon any consumer who acts against the law of the airport.
