The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Deputy Governorship candidate in Rivers state, Tonto Dikeh, has declared her readiness to absorb any criticism that comes her way during her political quest. The actress conceded that there are controversies attached to her name which could birth criticisms during the course of her campaign.
Dikeh, a popular Nollywood actress, is the running mate to the ADC Governorship candidate in Rivers state, Tonte Ibraye. This development has incurred numerous criticisms on the Nollywood star. While addressing the media, the ADC Deputy Governor candidate established her unrelenting nature while pursuing her dreams.
In addition, Tonto Dikeh emphasized her readiness to contest while revealing how she has been working for about three years to actualize it. We had a lot of time to work on this and for this, criticism, I’m ready,” she added.
While referencing her preparedness, Tonto Dikeh recalled her success as an entrepreneur. She described how she intends to replicate her success in entrepreneurship to take Rivers State to the Zenith.
According to reports, the celebrity emerged as the running mate to Ibraye by the party’s National Chairman, Chief Ralph Nwosu, on Friday, June 24, 2022. Furthermore, during the presentation, Nwosu called on Nigerian youths to support youths at all levels in the forthcoming general elections. Lastly, he urged Youths to shun party strength or popularity and vote for the best candidate.
