UK unveils updated list of companies qualified to sponsor 2024 Nigerian’s work visa

Authorities in the United Kingdom has approved not less than 99,856 companies to sponsor skilled immigrants through its temporary worker immigration scheme.

The list which was released on January 12 marks an increase of 31,226 companies from the 68,630 that were approved in 2023.

According to reports, companies that made their way into the list cut across commerce, education, media and advertisement, and engineering sectors, among several others.

They include IECC Care (Independent Excel Care Consortium Limited), AboutCare Hastings Ltd, £ ESS Ltd, Architect UK Ltd, Home Accommodation Services Ltd, Brunswick Stores Limited, Plus Care Ltd, 003 Ltd, amongst others.

In a note on its website, the UK government said “This document lists worker and temporary worker sponsors. It includes information about the category of workers they’re licensed to sponsor and their sponsorship rating.”

“The skilled worker route includes charity workers, skilled workers, creative workers, global business mobility: senior or specialist workers, and international sportspersons.”
