Unidentified hoodlums batters Oyo Sport Council Chairman

Unidentified hoodlums have reportedly attacked the Chairman of the Oyo Sport Council, Honorable Gbenga Adewusi.

Adewusi was attacked shortly after the yesterday’s match between Shooting Stars and MFM football club at Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasigba, Ibadan.
According to reports, the chairman was attempting to protect the Shooting Stars Players and Stadium from the vandals before he was overwhelmed by the scores of unidentified hoodlums.

 

Adewusi was consequently inflicted with severe facial injuries and is now being nebulized at the hospital.
The Oyo State Police a command has commenced investigations into identifying the attackers and bringing them to book
