Guinness World Records has announced Hilda Baci as the new record holder for the longest cooking by an individual. The GWR gave the announcement on its website on Tuesday morning.

The statement reads, “Following a thorough review of all the evidence, Guinness World Records can now confirm that Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci, has officially broken the record for the longest cooking marathon (individual), with a time of 93 hours 11 minutes.”
Recall that the 26-year-old Nigerian chef started an 100 cooking competition on Thursday 11 May and continued till Monday 15 May. During the period, she cooked hundreds of delicacies thereby attracting support from far and near.
