Alaafin’s wife dies weeks after the monarch’s death

The Oyo palace has been thrown into mourning, following the death of Olori Kafayat Adeyemi, one of the wives of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi who joined her ancestors.

Kafayat who was reportedly died the 1st day of July, Months After the demise of her husband,the longest-ever reigned Alaafin Oyo, Late. Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, died in late April.

Olori Kafayat, whose cause of death is still unknown was the fourth wife of the late Oba Adeyemi III, the mother of Prince Adebayo Adeyemi (D’Gov), who is the chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Pensions Board was said to have died in the United States of America.

This was made known to newsmen by the Director of Media and Publicity at the Alaafin Palace, Mr. Bode Durojaye,
